My Review - Rating - 9/10
First off, let me preface this by saying that the Fablehaven series is kid’s books, but in the way that Harry Potter is a kid's book - it is meant for children, but adults will also enjoy it. I’d say they’re about on the middle school level, with the ability to be enjoyed by adults. But this was my favorite series growing up, and I still read them for the nostalgia/comfort factor every year or so. I loved these books. They have an original premise, are very well written, and are paced well - you are never bored, but they don’t just put you into action from the beginning to keep you interested. The entire series has relatable characters, unforeseen plot twists (and some that are intentionally foreseeable), and great adventures. I have zero issues with the book, and I’d gladly recommend this series to anyone between the ages of 10 and 100.
